TULSA - The Golden Hurricane (14-3, 4-0 C-USA) vanquished the Golden Knights of Central Florida (9-8, 1-2 C-USA) Saturday, January 16th at the Reynolds Center. TU guard Justin Hurtt recorded a new career high: 22 total points, and in so doing earned admission to what CBS College Sports announcers termed "the Big Three." Rounding out the Big Three, senior Jerome Jordan posted a double-double 21 points and 11 rebounds, while fellow senior Ben Uzoh contributed 16 points to TU's 90 - 70 victory.

Wednesday night, Tulsa travels south to visit the ORU Golden Eagles. Speaking about his team's readiness for a bout with cross-town rivals Oral Roberts, Tulsa Coach Doug Wojcik was confident - "there will be plenty of Tulsa fans in the stands. My guys know what it means and they'll come prepared to play." Tip-off is set for 7p on the 20th, and the game will be televised on Fox College Sports (Cox Digital Cable 262).
